In 2021, PATRÓN discontinued its popular tequila-based, coffee liqueur - PATRÓN XO Cafe - leaving fans absolutely devastated by the loss. Despite fans challenging the decision with a petition via Change.Org that racked up over 4,000 signatures, several posts on social media (even an obituary penned by one passionate fan), and stumbling across the rare bottle that will cost you at least $100 (via Wine Searcher), all hope seemed to be lost for the beloved product.
This April Fool’s Day, PATRÓN Tequila announced the return of PATRÓN XO Cafe for a one-time, limited-quantity release - an announcement almost too good to be true.
Created with two authentically Mexican ingredients - PATRÓN Silver Tequila and Arabica bean coffee sourced from the states of Veracruz and Chiapas - PATRÓN XO Cafe is an extraordinary high-quality liqueur with the aroma and taste of fresh coffee, balanced with notes of vanilla, chocolate and light tequila. Unlike other low-proof coffee liqueurs, the taste is dry, not sweet, and is excellent for sipping, as a premium cocktail ingredient, or as a unique and delicious dessert topping.
ABOUT PATRÓN XO CAFE

It has an aroma and taste of fresh coffee balanced with notes of vanilla, chocolate and light tequila. Its naturally sweetened and subtle flavors are due to the following:
PATRÓN Silver tequila contains only the highest quality 100% Weber Blue Agave.
The handcrafted coffee in PATRÓN XO Cafe comes from two states in Mexico, Veracruz and Chiapas. The large blue-green beans from Veracruz impart an intense aroma and toasted flavor, while those from Chiapas have a delicate aroma, rich body, natural flavor, and bright acidity.
